Gene Expression BW
DNA contains units called genes that are a series of bases(GCAT) that often code for proteins.
Messenger RNA is made from genes in the nucleus, by pairing complementary bases/transcription.
The mRNA takes this code for a protein to a ribosome where the protein is made
Every three bases on the mRNA is a codon that indicates one of 20 kinds of amino acid.
Codon order is used put the correct amino acids in order to make particular protein.
Steps: DNA -> mRNA -> codons read/translation -> ribosome connects amino acids in a chain.
